New Generation Humanitarian NGO announces an open call for Communication and Public Relations Specialist within the framework of Right to Health project.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Communication and Public Relations Specialist will be responsible for the development of communication and public relations strategy of the organization, establishment and promotion of the organization in the social media.

Obligations:

• To raise the visibility of the Organization, disseminate information on the held events and other activities within the target groups
• To develop, update and promote NGO website(ngngo.net)  in coopearation with the NGO staff
• To effectively use different social networks / Facebook, Twitter/՝ to ensure the NGO visibility, active participation and contact and communication with NGO target and beneficiary groups
• To prepare and disseminate the NGO newsletters via emails and other communication networks
• To regularly update NGO Facebook-ի և Twitter accounts՝ ensuring public awareness  on NGO current events and activities
• To establish contact and ensure communication  with mass media outlets
• To make and disseminate press releases

Required Qualifications

• Higher education in Communications, Public Relations and relevant fields is preferred
• At least  2 years’ work experience in relevant field
• Excellent knowledge of written and verbal English
• Knowledge of Russian is preferred
• Website deployment and updating skills
• Experience in strategic promotion, public relations and communication
• Excellent interpersonal, organization, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work individually and in a team,
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint programs
