On December 10, 2019, a discussion on “The role of volunteers in responding to HIV” was held.
The training-discussion was organized by New Generation Humanitarian NGO within the framework of the "Right to Health” project, financed by the Eurasian Coalition on Male Health from the funds of the Global Fund.
The goal of the training-discussions was to promote volunteers involvement in response to HIV through peer-to-peer education.
On December 10, a training-discussion was held for HIV activists. Armen Savchenko, a volunteers trained during the training, presented the role of volunteers in HIV response, types and importance of Voluntary Work, the specificity of outreach work, HIV transmission ways, տhe most vulnerable groups included in the National Program, etc to the volunteers of Tatevik NGO.
The courses were followed by active discussions, interactive exercises.
