On December 27, 2019, discussion of law draft on Legal Gender Recognition and Gender Affirming Procedures was held in Yerevan by New Generation Humanitarian NGO with participation of the staff, outreach workers and community representatives.
NGO president Sergey Gabrielyan briefly presented the law draft to the participants, which was followed by active discussions and questions and answers. All the voiced opinions, comments and suggestions will be taken into consideration during the finalization of the law draft. The finalized law draft will be shared with the stakeholders and will be submitted to relevant decision-making bodies.
The meeting was organized by New Generation Humanitarian NGO within the framework of Right to Health project which is financed by Eurasian Coalition on Male Health (ECOM) from the funds of the Global Fund to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
