On September 10, 2019, at the New Generation Humanitarian NGO office, a self-defense training was conducted by LGBT activist, transgender woman Nora Petrosyan.
The training was followed by active discussions, games, questions and answers. During the training the participants received answers to all their questions, and training games were organized to strengthen the participants' knowledge. The course discussed what self-defense is, how to defend oneself, what protective mechanisms are available, in which case self-defense becomes a crime, what psychological tactics are, how to avoid attacks, and finally how to act if the attack is in a group.
The purpose of the training was to raise awareness among vulnerable groups about self-defense.
