On June 28-29, 2018, two-day workshop on "Situational testing" was held for CSO and Mass Media representatives, advocates, human rights activists and lawyers of Armenia.
On the first day of the workshop, June 28, our Czech colleagues from Poradna pro občanství, občanská a lidská práva organization presented the method of Situation Testing of Discrimination Cases, its way of usage and application, shared their experience of the application of the method, and presented discrimination cases in the Czech Republic and their experience in overcoming them.
On the 2nd day of the workshop, June 29, 2018 our Czech colleagues presented the role of the Public Defender of Rights in the Czech Republic in combat against discrimination, the situation of LGBT people in the Czech Republic and also discussed the discrimination cases where the method of situation testing could be applied in Armenia.
The workshop was held within the framework of the project jointly implemented by Poradna pro občanství, občanská a lidská práva and ″New Generation″ Humanitarian NGO with the financial support of the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic within Transition Promotion Program.
